Bridgit Frank
Bridgit is a STOTT® certified Pilates instructor and a certified GYROTONIC® Level 1 instructor. Bridgit relocated to Interlochen, Michigan from Brooklyn, New York in 2008 where she lived and worked for eighteen years as a corporate sales executive in the fashion business. After suffering from Guillain-Barré, which lead to temporary paralysis her senior year of high school, she explored various fitness programs with little success until discovering Pilates over fourteen years ago. She currently teaches Pilates mat classes at Yoga for Health and the Traverse City Senior Center. She enjoys working with all ages and fitness levels. Having completed Carolyn Anthony’s “The Pilates Way to Menopause” workshop the summer of 2011, she has gained a greater understanding of the aging female body. She recently attended the “Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries” four day immersion course in New York City at Mount Sinai Medical School. Led by physicians, the workshop gave her hands on experience with cadaver prosections and increased her understanding of the human body and common injuries.
